After last week's win over the Chiefs, Jackson said how earlier this season, "The man (Al Davis) told me 'Hue, we'll win it in the end.' I believe that." I don't know how much I believe that as much as I do the Chargers are in full mail-it-in mode.

Al Davis is the ex-owner of the Oakland Raiders who has passed away this Octorber. When he said these words, they might have simply meant “We are the winners.” But come the end of the season, with a slight chance of making playoffs hanging on the last game, the meaning of “in the end” starts to alter and the words are now sounding more like a prophesy.
